About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and deliver the People function of Nureva Inc. and its subsidiary, Nialli Inc.
  • Work as an integral member of management teams across both organizations
  • Support organizational growth, workforce planning and employee development
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment across technical and nontechnical roles
  • Coach management team members on performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution and people leadership
  • Develop and maintain policies, programs and resources supporting a positive staff member experience
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, accommodations and other People operations processes
  • Support compensation reviews, benchmarking and people planning initiatives
  • Design and deliver management and leadership training programs
  • Support staff engagement and culture-building initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with policies and employment legislation
  • Identify and implement process improvements supporting organizational growth and efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 7 years of progressive HR experience
  • A degree or diploma in HR, business administration or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management and leadership development
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation
  • Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • Strong judgment, discretion and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience supporting management in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
  • CPHR designation (nice to have)
  • Experience in the technology sector (nice to have)
  • Experience developing and delivering leadership training (nice to have)
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and people analytics (nice to have)
