About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Set up, maintain, test, and troubleshoot merchant production accounts within the payment gateway environment
Configure payment methods, banking information, currencies, MCC codes, terminals, and account profiles
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and business requirements
Support merchant onboarding, account modifications, and production issue resolution
Perform sensitive technical configurations in the production environment
Configure new client accounts
Test and troubleshoot new banks, alternative payment methods, and services in production
Execute configuration requests submitted via tickets when requirements are clear
Handle routine technical configuration and data-entry tasks
Write and follow client- and partner-specific procedures
Respond to technical and configuration inquiries
Track issues through resolution and contact relevant internal departments as needed
Investigate errors and logs and provide feedback to Product and Technical teams
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to handle and take ownership of repetitive technical tasks
Technical affinity, fast learning, and multi-tasking
Experience creating new clients’ accounts
Experience configuring different banks and cards
Experience configuring new alternative payment methods via different providers
Knowledge of company products and services
Experience making technical changes for existing accounts
English written and spoken; English is used most of the time
Experience with APM (Alternative Payment Methods) and third-party providers
Technical background investigating logs, internet experience, and communication protocols
Experience creating queries for servers using HTTPS and REST API
Familiarity with technical API documentation
Familiarity with large server logs from different modules
Ability to analyze problems quickly and find suitable solutions
High level of patience and ability to work in a busy and sometimes pressured environment
Ability to prevent wrong configurations due to missing or incomplete requirements
High attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
