About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, administer, organize, and analyze the annual corporate-wide employee wellness program
- Manage daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual wellness program activities
- Examine existing wellness initiatives and recommend or implement improvements
- Research and develop new employee wellness initiatives
- Provide program improvement recommendations and proposals to management
- Update and revitalize Passport to Wellness annually
- Coordinate employee engagement events throughout the year, including holiday and summer events
- Maintain the employee corporate intranet and notify employees of breaking news
- Research NYCM Wellness Program award programs and recommend high-impact programs
- Collaborate with the benefits team to assess wellness program ROI and impact on healthcare usage and premiums
- Develop and maintain reporting metrics for fitness center use, group fitness participation, Passport to Wellness participation, and other large datasets
- Develop, create, and conduct employee surveys
- Submit NYCM applications to statewide and national awards programs
- Build vendor relationships and partnerships to support employee engagement events
- Communicate wellness activities through the corporate intranet and email
- Collaborate with divisional wellness advocates to support engagement and program effectiveness
- Work closely with the Fitness Coordinator/Trainer and Brand and Culture team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Related experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets
- Ability to create, analyze, and present reports
- Organizational, time management, detail-oriented, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
- Good written, oral, and listening communication skills
- Ability to build PowerPoint presentations and speak publicly
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to handle pressure calmly and effectively
