  • Provide trusted advice that helps shape regulatory priorities and outcomes
  • Transform data and intelligence into insights that inform key decisions
  • Lead and support mapping of regulatory systems and services across the land transport regulatory system
  • Identify risks, gaps, issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare strategic risk assessments and insight reporting for senior and executive stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships across regulatory, transport, and public sector ecosystems
  • Support insight sharing, collaborative learning, and evidence-informed practice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant post graduate qualification or equivalent experience gained through senior roles in regulatory or public service environments
  • Proven expertise in regulatory or public sector environments
  • Experience with risk assessment, data analysis and synthesis, or generation of human insights
  • Ability to analyse complex information and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Strategic, systems-thinking approach
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of audiences
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence decision-making
  • Legal right to live and work in New Zealand
  • CV and cover letter outlining suitability for the role
