About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as an HR resource for employee relations and development.
  • Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department.
  • Facilitate and implement performance management for staff in cooperation with attorneys.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records and documentation.
  • Enter employee data into a computer database.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, policy enforcement and performance management
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ year of demonstrated hiring in the legal or professional services industry is a plus.
