About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of assigned communities
  • Ensure residents’ healthcare needs are met
  • Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and receive quality care as their healthcare needs change
  • Supervise licensed nurses and other direct care team members within the community
  • Strengthen clinical processes within the community until a replacement is identified
  • Support newly assigned Health Services Directors
  • Travel within the organization to support management of vacant positions, startup communities, vacations, and leaves of absence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • The ideal candidate will be based in or near the Los Angeles market
  • Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse holding a valid California nursing license in good standing
  • Assisted living clinical experience is preferred
  • Four (4) years’ experience working in Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) is preferred
  • Three (3) years’ experience supervising and managing employees is preferred
  • Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) license is preferred
  • Able to effectively teach/train staff
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test within 72 hours of start date
  • Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption due to Qualifying Medical Reasons or Religious Beliefs subject to legal requirements
