About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate school onboarding, classroom equipment setup, teacher allocations, and onboarding documentation
- Provide basic technology setup and first-line technical support to teachers
- Train and support teachers in using equipment and the Huddle platform
- Help teachers create class codes and onboard learners
- Log technical issues through appropriate support channels
- Build relationships with teachers and school leadership
- Support consistent and effective use of Huddle video and workbook resources
- Maintain accurate school and teacher profiles and record school-level challenges
- Review and update shared tracking tools daily
- Identify and escalate issues according to established procedures
- Capture and share school feedback on products and technology
- Coordinate learner workbook distribution
- Replace basic equipment and maintain the equipment register
- Schedule and conduct workbook reviews and classroom observations
- Distribute and follow up on forms and surveys
- Capture attendance registers for extracurricular programmes
- Collect academic data, including assessment results, matric results, Grade 10 Maths uptake, and WCED mark schedules
- Follow up on outstanding school, teacher, and learner data, including POPIA forms
- Manage school-level assessment logistics and day-of readiness
- Obtain school timetables and coordinate Huddle staff visits
- Prepare schools for funder and partner visits
- Share regular updates on onboarding, data collection, and programme delivery
- Collaborate with operations, training, and academic product teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communicator who builds relationships easily with teachers and principals
- Comfortable working independently across multiple school sites
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Proficiency in English and one additional South African language
- isiXhosa and Afrikaans an advantage
- Comfortable working in challenging contexts with high levels of poverty and limited resources
- Matric certificate and degree certificate requested as part of the application process
