About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct needs assessments to review existing career progression materials and practices
- Analyze current career progression frameworks and processes
- Obtain stakeholder insights through focus groups, interviews, or surveys
- Analyze data using statistical methods to evaluate and improve organizational effectiveness
- Conduct benchmarking and identify best practices
- Recommend and develop career progression models based on needs assessments
- Develop implementation strategies, roadmaps, and tools
- Create reports and briefings for leadership
- Provide recommendations to modernize career progression processes and increase flexibility for job incumbents
- Support leadership in reassigning personnel as needed to meet mission requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ph.D. or master’s in industrial/organizational psychology from an accredited institution
- 5+ years conducting job analysis, assessments, and workforce studies
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a top-secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Proficiency in designing studies, collecting data, and applying statistical analysis to understand workforce issues and develop solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to interpret complex data and use it to make informed decisions about HR policies, employee training, and organizational development
- Familiarity with statistical software such as SPSS, R, or SAS
- Familiarity with computer applications used in data analysis and report generation
- Ability to work and communicate with different levels of staff and management
- Additional licensures, certifications, or training in relevant assessment tools, statistical software, or methodologies is a plus
