About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate design concepts and product requirements into detailed technical information within the PLM system
- Ensure data accuracy and timely updates
- Support product development from concept to salesman sample
- Maintain complete and organized development records for assigned styles
- Manage prototypes and samples, ensuring quality, fit consistency, and adherence to timelines
- Collaborate with pattern makers and suppliers on construction requirements and product reviews
- Work with garment manufacturers across different regions and support supplier visits when required
- Support fit sessions, product evaluations, and field and washing tests
- Monitor development timelines and follow up on key milestones
- Collaborate with Product Management and Design teams throughout collection creation
- Contribute to improvements in product construction, fit, functionality, and quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or technical education in Apparel, Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or a comparable field
- 1–3 years of experience in apparel product development, preferably within sportswear, outdoor, technical apparel, or performance products
- Recent graduates with a relevant educational background in apparel or textiles are welcome
- Basic understanding of garment construction, pattern making principles, fabrics, and apparel manufacturing processes
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment
- Pattern making and sewing skills are a plus
- Very good Italian and English skills
- Availability to travel to suppliers, trade shows, and field-testing activities when required
