About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the development of operational policies and procedures concerning compensation, employee relations, and benefit programs
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations
  • Facilitate accurate salary processing
  • Manage employee benefits and compensation packages
  • Oversee timely and accurate company payroll preparation and processing
  • Verify employee working hours, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and tax information
  • Handle and resolve payroll-related employee queries
  • Oversee compensation in all countries with Obrela presence, directly or via third parties
  • Design and implement compensation and benefits programs, policies, and guidelines
  • Manage the annual salary review process, salary adjustments, and bonus schemes
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and participate in salary surveys
  • Serve as the point of contact for compensation and benefits inquiries
  • Manage employee benefits programs and advise HR Business Partners
  • Monitor benefits trends and recommend plan improvements
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and legal teams
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related tax filings and reports
  • Maintain accurate and confidential payroll, compensation, and benefits records
  • Analyze payroll data and trends for cost-effectiveness
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management
  • Report to the Chief of People

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in payroll management, compensation, and benefits administration
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software (Pylon)
  • HRMS technical skills
  • Ability to generate and analyze reports using Excel and other reporting tools
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and taxation related to payroll and benefits
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
  • Competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member in a multicultural environment
  • Willingness to engage in professional development activities and adapt to evolving organizational needs
