About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in requirement gathering and define scope and objectives of business requirements
Document requirements, including use cases, and translate them into system requirement specifications
Serve as a subject matter expert in assigned reporting systems for internal teams, members, and external customers
Execute the full reporting lifecycle: design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Develop and update technical documentation for reporting systems
Balance multiple competing priorities
Communicate via email, JIRA tickets, and phone
Support the Population Health/Reporting Analytics department and OCHIN’s Clinic Membership and business partners
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience
At least 2 years of professional experience in Health care IT
Experience in a Healthcare setting, Ambulatory or Acute Care settings preferred/required
Current Epic certification in Cogito or Clarity; if no certification, a minimum of two years of experience in Cogito or Clarity preferred/required
Knowledge of SQL, Epic Cogito, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, and Tableau
Experience with SQL, Business Objects, and Crystal Reports required
Experience identifying, defining, and analyzing end user requirements and timelines
Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment
High Speed Internet Service
Ability to work in a distraction free workplace
COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption before hire date
