About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage multiple competing projects simultaneously
  • Define, delegate, and manage build deliverables for revenue cycle analysts
  • Perform complex build and configuration in Epic, external financial clearinghouses, and related products
  • Serve as subject matter expert for project scoping, technical design, and process improvement
  • Consult with member billing offices and identify billing workflows, claim examples, and regulatory requirements
  • Design customized Epic financial build logic when standard options are unavailable
  • Provide weekly financial updates and project status reports
  • Act as project and technical consultant
  • Lead strategic discussions with executive customer contacts
  • Attend go-lives and lead ad hoc decision-making conversations
  • Operate within OCHIN’s Member Care Team framework
  • Lead working sessions to resolve advanced and complex integration work orders
  • Provide workflow solutions and hands-on system training
  • Lead and mentor analysts on complex interdepartmental project work
  • Document build specifications, team processes, and complex clinic workflows
  • QA complex builds, Quarterly Update modifications, and other work orders
  • Collaborate with OCHIN teams to address integration issues
  • Provide elbow support to clinic staff during Go-Lives and Dress Rehearsals
  • Lead member trainings and workgroups
  • Develop and share workflow best practices
  • Assist Project Managers in identifying system capabilities
  • Build, design, test, and document new system functionality
  • Provide process improvements within the application or team
  • Travel to support off-site software installations as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar or relevant role
  • Minimum of 2 applicable certifications/proficiencies, preferably Epic Resolute HB, Charge Router or CDM, SBO
  • Preferred certifications are HB
  • Work history in Healthcare IT is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Healthcare Informatics or Computer Science preferred) or a combination of college education and 5–7 years of relevant experience
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills with application and technical team members and end users
  • Integrity and accountability
  • Process- and detail-oriented, with a focus on data-driven decision making
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solution oriented
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10–15% to support Go Lives
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment

  • Ability to work in a distraction-free workplace
  • Ability to travel nationally up to 15% for on-site Go Live support
