About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead strategic projects using project management, change management, and process improvement capabilities
  • Manage individual projects through the full project lifecycle, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing
  • Develop and execute project communication strategies with stakeholders and the department
  • Serve as instructor for strategic program management training programs
  • Conduct coaching and consulting engagements
  • Maintain compliance with applicable laws, accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and Ochsner compliance and privacy standards
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, finance, public health, health care administration or related field
  • 5 years experience in a relevant field, including 1 year project management, change management, process improvement, or healthcare experience, OR 3 years relevant experience with a Master's degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of data analytics
  • Computer skills and dexterity for data entry and information retrieval
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Windows-style applications and role-specific software
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Judgment, organization, group facilitation, decision-making, and delegation skills
  • Ability to work independently, set project priorities, and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Ability to travel throughout and between facilities
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws, accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and Ochsner compliance and privacy standards
