About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversees all stages of the business intelligence cycle
- Understands business objectives and collects business requirements
- Translates business requirements into data requirements
- Designs and develops reports and dashboards, including code and visualization
- Schedules and deploys business intelligence components according to standards and best practices
- Completes accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborates with business and technology departments to understand system data and its use
- Performs data analysis and validation
- Provides support around data and its integration
- Monitors production systems for issues and resolves or escalates them
- Develops logical modeling and presentation solutions
- Works with business stakeholders to develop analytical solutions to improve business operations
- Maintains and develops process documentation
- Manages data following best practices
- Supports and monitors business intelligence systems and processes
- Administers business intelligence servers and/or processes
- Performs other related duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), business, or related field
- 1 year of experience with SQL programming language, data analysis and profiling, relational database systems, reporting, dashboards and business intelligence systems
- 1 year of experience as business analyst, collaborating with end users to define metrics and business requirements
- SQL and data analysis skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective critical thinking and analytical skills
- Knowledge of reporting and business intelligence concepts
- Ability to collaborate with end users to define metrics and business requirements
- Ability to effectively manage multiple demands
- Ability to comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
