About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Capacity Management & Access Analytics team
- Improve provider scheduling capacity, patient access, workflow performance, and operational efficiency
- Analyze performance data, identify improvement opportunities, standardize processes, and implement technology-enabled solutions
- Oversee provider capacity management, patient access performance, and operational analytics
- Provide strategic insights, forecasting, and actionable recommendations to operational and executive leadership
- Develop, maintain, and standardize operational procedures, documentation, and training materials
- Partner with clinical, operational, revenue cycle, patient access, and information systems leaders
- Serve as subject matter expert for provider capacity management, access analytics, Epic Cadence optimization, and operational best practices
- Lead strategic initiatives involving provider scheduling optimization, automation, AI-enabled technologies, and digital transformation
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI-enabled technologies and automation solutions
- Collaborate with Information Systems and operational leaders on emerging technologies and continuous improvement
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of analysts
- Establish performance expectations, foster accountability and collaboration, and support employee engagement, professional development, and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years experience in healthcare operations, patient access, ambulatory operations, provider scheduling, information technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving clinical, operational, and IS stakeholders
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and Epic SlicerDicer or similar
- Knowledge of healthcare operations, provider scheduling, patient access workflows, and performance metrics
- Knowledge of AI-enabled technologies and automation tools
- Strong organizational, project management, and change management skills
- Ability to remain knowledgeable about applicable laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements
