Key responsibilities & impact

  • Build Python pipelines and Snowflake workflows
  • Create REST API integrations
  • Develop web-based self-service applications replacing 40+ Alteryx Gallery apps used by five internal teams
  • Work across Python, Snowflake, REST APIs, and web applications
  • Use Claude as an active co-author for code generation, agentic task execution, architectural review, and documentation
  • Reverse-engineer legacy workflows and reproduce their outputs in a new technology stack
  • Own and debug production-scale data pipelines with SLA implications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of Python development, including pandas, requests, openpyxl, and regex
  • Solid Snowflake SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, window functions, INSERT, MERGE, and TRUNCATE/INSERT
  • Ability to design data pipelines from scratch, select batch versus event-driven processing models, choose AWS services, and defend architecture decisions
  • REST API experience with OAuth2, pagination, rate limiting, and JSON/XML parsing
  • Full-stack capability using a Python backend with Flask or FastAPI and an HTML/JavaScript frontend
  • Hands-on AWS data pipeline architecture experience with Lambda, Step Functions or Glue, ECS/Fargate or EC2, S3, Secrets Manager, and EventBridge
  • Demonstrated production experience using LLMs such as Claude, Copilot, GPT-4, or equivalent as active co-authors
  • Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Devin, or similar
  • Ability to reverse-engineer undocumented legacy workflows and exactly reproduce their outputs
  • Git proficiency, including branching, pull requests, and versioned releases
  • Production-scale pipeline experience serving multiple consumers on a defined schedule with SLA implications and production debugging experience
  • Strong plus: Microsoft Graph API experience
  • Strong plus: Snowflake architecture experience, including table structures, roles and grants, compute sizing, cloning, or time-travel
  • Strong plus: experience building self-service data tools or internal operations tooling for non-technical users
  • Strong plus: familiarity with Alteryx Designer
  • Strong plus: workflow orchestration experience with Airflow, Prefect, or AWS Step Functions, including production DAGs, task dependencies, retry logic, and failure alerting
