About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide complete lifecycle support for enterprise network assets
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Design and implement enterprise-wide network solutions
Integrate legacy LAN/WAN with current SD-WAN and cloud connectivity technologies
Lead large, complex network transformation projects and migration initiatives
Develop and maintain network security frameworks adhering to industry best practices
Participate at times in a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical network issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network capabilities with project objectives
Work with client representatives to address network requirements and cyber-related issues
Manage and mentor a team of network engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors or higher degree in relevant field
10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering
2 years leading a network engineering team
Extensive experience with Cisco/Juniper/Huawei networking technologies
Cisco/Juniper certification (e.g. CCNP, CISSP, PMP)
Experience with networking routing protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLAN, VPN, QoS, CG-NAT, PPPoe, MPLS, SDH, xDSL)
Knowledge of network security principles and technologies (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
Ability and willingness to acquire new certifications as required
Preferred experience with cloud networking (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
Preferred experience in network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible)
Preferred experience with SD-WAN implementation and management
Preferred experience with data center technologies such as cooling, power, access
