About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own recruiting strategy and pipeline health across assigned markets
- Identify pipeline gaps and adjust sourcing and engagement strategies to meet clinician hiring targets
- Manage the clinician recruiting lifecycle from proactive sourcing and initial engagement through assessment and hire
- Build and maintain pipelines of licensed clinicians through sourcing, outreach, referrals, talent mapping, re-engagement, and AI-assisted sourcing
- Develop creative sourcing approaches and test new talent pools, search strategies, messaging, tools, and channels
- Use recruiting data, AI-powered insights, market intelligence, and industry trends to evaluate pipeline performance and diagnose challenges
- Provide a high-touch candidate experience and communicate Octave’s clinical model, opportunities, and value proposition
- Manage competing priorities, pipelines, and recruiting targets across multiple markets
- Partner with clinical and operational teams to translate provider needs into sourcing and recruiting strategies
- Leverage AI, automation, and recruiting technology to improve sourcing, research, outreach, interview preparation, workflow efficiency, and decision-making
- Continuously improve recruiting processes and workflows
- Contribute to Octave’s employer brand through candidate engagement and personalized outreach
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-volume and/or target-driven recruiting environment
- 1+ years of experience recruiting licensed clinicians, healthcare professionals, or similarly specialized talent
- Demonstrated success proactively sourcing and engaging passive candidates in competitive or hard-to-fill talent markets
- Hands-on experience with Boolean search, social platforms, talent mapping, targeted outreach, and candidate re-engagement
- Experience independently managing multiple recruiting pipelines, markets, or hiring targets simultaneously
- Experience using recruiting data, pipeline metrics, and technology to evaluate performance and adjust recruiting strategy
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute proactive sourcing strategies for passive talent
- Strong sourcing instincts and ability to identify qualified talent beyond inbound applicant flow
- Ability to assess pipeline health, identify gaps and trends, and adjust sourcing and engagement strategies based on data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including personalized candidate outreach
- Ability to manage multiple markets, pipelines, and hiring targets while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and recruiting technology
- Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day recruiting work
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment with AI, automation, new sourcing channels, and emerging recruiting technology
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be able to frequently communicate through virtual meeting applications such as Zoom and Google Meet
- Experience incorporating AI-enabled tools into recruiting workflows is preferred
