About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the daily supply of warehouses and technical teams
  • Manage recurring supplier orders and technical orders for next-day delivery
  • Optimize safety stock levels and prevent stockouts
  • Monitor physical inventory and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Identify flow anomalies and implement corrective actions in the inventory management system
  • Optimize the number of SKUs
  • Update inventory values weekly and conduct month-end inventory counts
  • Produce reports and KPIs related to storage costs and inventory turnover
  • Verify the accuracy of equipment lists and support kitting activities
  • Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and manage supplier disputes
  • Ensure availability of more than 98% for critical equipment
  • Take ownership of procurement and inventory tools and contribute to their continuous improvement
  • Build effective working relationships with warehouse managers and technical teams
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and independently manage urgent purchases
  • Challenge quantities and product selections to maintain a target inventory level of one to two months

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented when working with numerical data, inventory counts, and inventory valuation
  • Hands-on, proactive, pragmatic, and responsive
  • Strong ability to anticipate and organize supply requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills when working with suppliers, warehouse managers, and technicians
  • Adaptable in the field and willing to support warehouse teams
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Able to quickly learn and use ERP and inventory management systems
  • Interest in AI tools
  • Weekly travel to the Amiens and Orléans warehouses
