About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Senior Portfolio Manager with day-to-day management of assigned portfolios
Monitor investments, asset performance, fund KPIs, distributions, commitments, liquidity and investor returns
Support monthly, quarterly and annual valuation processes, including DCF, investment and fund models, valuation bridges and sensitivities
Support cash-flow forecasting, debt structures, refinancing activity, covenants, hedging and other fund financial arrangements
Analyse portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment exposures and underlying fund information
Coordinate inputs into investor reports, factsheets, customer board materials, investor meetings and due diligence responses
Support monthly NAV processes for underlying private funds and reconcile movements
Monitor portfolio risks, governance requirements, valuation movements, liquidity, debt covenants, mandate constraints and data gaps
Maintain fund-level information for NAV, AUM, returns, distributions, commitments and track record
Improve reporting, controls, data collection, automation and process documentation
Work with Asset Management, Investment, Finance and other teams; report to the Senior Portfolio Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least three years of relevant experience in fund management, fund accounting, financial reporting, audit, transaction services, infrastructure, renewable energy, valuations, investment analysis or a comparable analytical role
Strong finance or accounting background
Good understanding of fund-management processes, including NAV, valuations, AUM, investor reporting, cash-flow forecasting, distributions, audit and governance
Strong Excel and financial-modelling skills, including reviewing models, analysing assumptions, reconciling outputs, and performing scenario and sensitivity analysis
Experience analysing investment, fund or asset performance and creating high-quality investor or management information
Experience with renewable energy, infrastructure, real assets, private markets, listed investment vehicles or multi-asset portfolios would be advantageous
CFA or accounting qualification would be advantageous
