About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and improve the core product’s pricing and discount mechanisms
Improve the accuracy of financial reporting and payment success rates across existing and potential payment providers
Expand the charging subscription offering for flexibility and scalability
Work within a small specialised team across multiple cross-functional product areas
Deliver high-quality products for customers
Support the Operations team in resolving payment-related customer issues
Support the Finance team in building accurate reporting systems
Work alongside the backend team providing services for the Electroverse electric vehicle charging ecosystem
Help develop discounting solutions, monitor financial patterns and deliver customer value
Influence backend scalability and contribute to the wider e-mobility ecosystem

Requirements

What you’ll need

Passion for creating high-quality software and mindset to learn and grow with the company
3+ years of software experience
Preferably experience with Django or similar Python frameworks
Experience monitoring and debugging applications and infrastructure
Experience maintaining asynchronous processing systems such as AMQP and Celery
Ability to discuss vision and features within a team and propose creative solutions
Knowledge of common security practices
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment
Ability to write robust and fault-tolerant software
Proficient understanding of Git
Experience with subscriptions and recurring payments (desirable)
Experience with billing and invoicing flows (desirable)
Experience with commercial, pricing and tax work in an international context (desirable)
Experience with KYC/KYB products and flows (desirable)
