About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify new corporate accounts and develop comprehensive strategies for designated strategic accounts aligned with company objectives and DEXTENZA growth targets
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key account stakeholders, including C-level influencers, physicians, and management
  • Identify and propose value-added solutions that enhance patient and client outcomes
  • Negotiate contracts and services while considering financial accountability, including GTN and potential ASP impact
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute activities within strategic accounts to implement contract initiatives
  • Implement account strategies and partner with Sales and Reimbursement compliantly as needed
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Market Access teams to align strategies and address client needs
  • Coordinate internal and external resources for strategic account management
  • Create forums to ensure proactive communication across internal functions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8–10+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, healthcare, market access, or strategic account management experience
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Experience managing large corporate accounts, IDNs, GPOs, health systems, ASC networks, or physician organizations
  • Proven record of achieving sales, access, and revenue growth goals
  • Experience negotiating and implementing contracts and business agreements
  • Strong understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement, and market access
  • Knowledge of provider business models and healthcare purchasing processes
  • Financial acumen, including contract profitability, gross-to-net (GTN), and pricing considerations
  • Ability to build relationships with C-suite executives, physician leaders, and key decision-makers
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively (typically 50–70%)
