About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Research and track trends across e-commerce, DTC, paid media, and creative
  • Write articles, LinkedIn posts, newsletters, and reports establishing Odyssey as a thought leader in performance marketing
  • Analyze Meta, TikTok, Google, and other platform changes and translate them into client- and prospect-friendly takeaways
  • Mine internal campaign data and case studies for statistics, benchmarks, and content stories
  • Collaborate with leadership and account teams to develop content ideas from client work
  • Build and maintain a content calendar across the blog, LinkedIn, and newsletter
  • Support sales collateral, decks, and one-pagers grounded in original data or research
  • Monitor competitors and industry publications
  • Track content performance, including engagement, reach, and inbound leads, and iterate accordingly

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years of experience in a research, analyst, content marketing, or communications role
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to turn data into clear, engaging narratives
  • Comfortable working with data, including spreadsheets, campaign dashboards, and platform reporting
  • Genuine interest in e-commerce, DTC brands, and digital marketing trends
  • Ability to independently source, research, and ship content with minimal oversight
  • Can-do attitude and ability to work in a start-up environment with day-to-day uncertainty
  • Experience with Notion, Motion, and LinkedIn analytics is a plus
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
