About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure enterprise network infrastructures
  • Architect, implement, and maintain network infrastructures aligned with enterprise and CMMC Level 2 requirements
  • Design and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, micro segmentation, and encryption controls
  • Re-architect network infrastructure for scalability and growth
  • Ensure VLAN segmentation and zero-trust alignment
  • Monitor network health daily and detect zero-day exploits
  • Monitor network traffic, identify threats, and lead incident response
  • Develop and enforce security standards aligned with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC
  • Support secure cloud connectivity and hybrid architectures
  • Lead upgrades and design Wi-Fi architectures
  • Support office buildouts
  • Evaluate new technologies and lead implementation efforts
  • Travel occasionally to offices across the US for project-related work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Ability to obtain a clearance
  • Relevant enterprise network and firewall technology certifications
  • Preferred: Secret clearance
  • Preferred certifications: CCNP, GIAC, CEH, or CMMC
  • Experience with secure enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Experience with CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171 requirements
  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, micro segmentation, and encryption controls
  • Experience with VLAN segmentation and zero-trust alignment
  • Experience with network monitoring, threat identification, zero-day exploits, and incident response
  • Experience with secure cloud connectivity and hybrid architectures
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage complex, compliance-driven initiatives
  • Ability to document environments and keep them up to date
  • Ability to travel to offices across the US for project-related work
