About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, qualify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within an assigned local market territory
  • Build relationships with decision makers, influencers, end users, and buyers through in-person meetings, networking, referrals, and cold calling
  • Present products, services, and solutions using customer profiles, business needs assessments, and strategic pricing programs
  • Drive profitable revenue growth and new customer partnerships
  • Use consultative selling and industry knowledge to uncover customer challenges and opportunities
  • Develop understanding of the local market, assigned industries, and competitive landscape
  • Forecast business activity, maintain an active sales pipeline, and achieve or exceed sales and revenue objectives
  • Collaborate with implementation, sales support, product specialists, and other cross-functional teams
  • Own territory planning, business development strategies, and sales initiative execution
  • Maintain accurate customer, prospect, activity, and pipeline information in Salesforce and other sales systems
  • Support forecasting, reporting, account planning, and data integrity
  • Share best practices and provide customer and market insights
  • Resolve customer issues and support long-term account success
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Demonstrated relationship building, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Experience or aptitude in consultative selling, needs analysis, and solution recommendation
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and adapting to change
  • Experience working in a team environment and collaborating to achieve shared goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce.com preferred
  • Ability to learn and effectively use internal systems, sales tools, and reporting platforms
  • Proven ability or strong potential to achieve monthly sales and revenue goals
  • Ability to conduct consultative customer analyses and provide tailored product and solution recommendations
  • Capability to develop long-term client relationships supporting renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Experience or comfort driving the sales process by securing and conducting face-to-face meetings with key decision makers
  • Ability to build an expansive network through sales calls, customer visits, industry events, and internal referrals
  • Comfort with cold calling and initiating contact with new prospects
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management, organizational, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to maintain and update CRM databases
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed assigned revenue goals and sales quotas
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English required
  • Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing
  • Related work experience in sales, customer service, or business development preferred
  • Ability to provide regular updates and reports to management on account activities, sales forecasts, and client feedback
