About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive profitable growth and operational excellence across Retail, E-commerce, and B2B channels
- Develop and publish sales and margin forecasts for assigned categories
- Analyze sales trends, inventory performance, assortment productivity, COGS, marketplace fees, and distribution expenses
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for leadership
- Develop, optimize, and rationalize product assortments across channels
- Manage product lifecycle transitions, including introductions, exits, and end-of-life strategies
- Assess reserve levels and discounting strategies for discontinued items
- Conduct competitive and market analysis
- Analyze pricing impacts and recommend pricing adjustments
- Support promotional planning, execution, and post-analysis
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Management, Pricing, Inventory Accounting, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Champion adoption of advanced analytics and AI tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, or related retail planning roles
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in Excel and planning software such as JDA, Oracle, or SAP
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
