About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist OhioHealth in improving quality and safety and reducing operational risk exposure
  • Facilitate, influence, plan, consult, and educate managers and staff on continuous quality improvement principles
  • Support quality- and risk-related functions and regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Lead projects with multidisciplinary team members across the organization
  • Identify, plan, and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Analyze data for continuous improvement
  • Execute quality and patient safety methodologies and risk mitigation strategies
  • Provide education to healthcare teams on performance improvement tools and methodologies
  • Mentor and develop associates regarding Evidence Based Practice, quality initiatives, regulatory demands, and performance improvement tools
  • Facilitate complex problem solving and develop well-reasoned solutions
  • Use change management processes to engage people and achieve performance improvement outcomes
  • Build awareness of needed change and measure improvement and return on investment
  • Develop relationships with managers, associates, and physicians
  • Communicate quality improvement visions, expectations, and results to stakeholders
  • Build consensus and lead project execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Experience working with interprofessional teams or complex groups in a facilitation or coordination role
  • Use of a range of quality improvement tools and techniques
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products
  • Knowledge of quality, safety, regulatory requirements, risk mitigation strategies, performance improvement tools, and Evidence Based Practice methodologies
