About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a security expert within the cybersecurity specialty and implement applications and technology
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity engineers, business analysts, architects, vendor partners, and IT teams to secure complex applications and services
  • Enforce security controls for application and service architectures
  • Maintain daily IAM operations and assist with assigned project work
  • Conduct design reviews, analyze results, and provide recommendations for quality products
  • Analyze user access needs and develop access roles
  • Add, change, and delete user access through provisioning tools or directly in systems and applications
  • Assist with application go-lives, upgrades, enhancements, and other special projects
  • Provide operational support and technical expertise for security processes, applications, and solutions
  • Identify and assess risk and develop secure solutions protecting enterprise data and systems
  • Guide teams through technical issues and challenges and lead technology changes
  • Oversee or consult on technology implementation and modification activities
  • Integrate security controls into architectural designs and requirements
  • Create, review, and approve technical documentation and vendor specifications
  • Analyze, plan, justify, schedule, and coordinate specialty-area administrative, operational, and financial initiatives
  • Support development and implementation of technology strategies and roadmaps
  • Investigate and mitigate IAM-related security incidents
  • Oversee support and operations of Privileged Access Management solutions and Remote Access
  • Establish and enforce IAM governance policies for compliance with security and regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Science, or equivalent experience
  • Field of study/experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in or supporting Identity and Access Management
  • 3+ years of experience with Active Directory and Domain management and maintenance
  • 1+ years of experience with Privileged Management, Cloud Identity Management, Remote Access solutions, and Certificate management
  • Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL
  • Knowledge of IT standards and controls
  • Understanding of information principles and processes
  • Understanding of system development life cycle methodologies, including waterfall, spiral, agile, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize, and DevOps
  • Understanding of security controls for cloud, systems, networks, data controls, and designs
  • Deep knowledge of information assurance principles and organizational requirements protecting confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity, and non-repudiation
  • Understanding of identity and access management systems, processes, and governance
  • Knowledge of response and recovery methods, multifactor authentication, and single sign-on
  • Understanding of HIPAA, CIS, NIST, ISO, and HITRUST security standards
  • Understanding of IAM concepts, technologies, and frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with IAM tools and platforms
  • Proficiency in SQL and PowerShell for querying and manipulating identity-related data
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to assist with vendor relationships and evaluate or recommend vendors and technologies
  • CISSP or CCSP certification is desired
  • Experience with SailPoint and NERM is desired
  • Understanding of user provisioning and maintenance in EPIC is desired
  • Experience with identity governance, SSO, SAML, and MFA is desired
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure Automation, and SQL is desired
  • Experience with Privileged Management, Entra ID, Remote Access solutions, Certificate Management, and Identity Governance solutions is desired
