About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care
  • Provide comprehensive care to cardiac patients in the Cardiology team
  • Provide case management support
  • Educate patients
  • Perform triage and make medical decisions using clinical expertise
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
  • Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing
  • Ability to delegate nursing tasks to LPNs and UAPs according to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act
