Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage content creation and strategic communication plans for OhioHealth physicians, APPs, the Clinically Integrated Network, and other clinical communication needs
  • Support Clinical Enterprise leadership
  • Develop and execute strategic internal communication plans and content that educate, motivate, and engage audiences
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications peers to maximize content opportunities
  • Create integrated strategic marketing communications plans and high-value content experiences for internal audiences
  • Serve as liaison with executive leaders
  • Participate in integrated teams throughout the organization
  • Lead through influence and mentor junior team members
  • Perform duties with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field
  • 7-10+ years in communications
  • Executive and technical communications experience
  • Web-based communications, intranets, online publication, and social media experience
  • Ability to influence leaders on communication issues and constructively coach senior executives
  • Strong leadership abilities as a formal and informal team leader
  • Experience with multi-level, matrix reporting work environments
  • Experience creating and implementing strategic integrated communications plans with successful results
  • Experience with internal and external audiences, ideally in healthcare
  • Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong oral communication, interviewing, researching, and presentation skills
  • Ability to solve problems and lead by influence
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet strict timelines and budgets, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
