About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure breakdown/staging of unit-specific product according to the designated schedule
  • Validate that the correct product and quantity were received via pack slips/license plates
  • Deliver and replenish supplies, linens, and equipment to designated areas based on routine schedules or special requests
  • Complete STAT orders according to requester timelines and communicated responses
  • Use powered and/or manual material-handling devices for safe movement of supplies, linen, and equipment
  • Place unit/location-specific orders using required technology and predetermined inventory methodology
  • Travel between sites when working in the Freestanding Emergency Department Network
  • Report errors and discrepancies through the appropriate chain of command
  • Manage product rotation and expiration dates
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow cleaning schedules and department leadership direction
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to perform basic math functions and computer skills
  • Must be able to understand the financial impacts as it relates to supply chain functions
  • Must be able to work in a moderately paced, ever changing environment
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written
  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, word processor software, and organization systems/applications including Workday, Microsoft TEAMS, and EPIC
  • Must maintain confidentiality of log-on passwords and security of authentication devices
  • Must adhere to information privacy and security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
