About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Distribute medical supplies, linen, and equipment where applicable
  • Ensure items are accurately identified and maintained in a clean and consistent manner
  • Break down and stage unit-specific products according to the designated schedule
  • Validate received products and quantities using pack slips/license plates
  • Deliver and replenish supplies, linens, and equipment to designated areas
  • Complete STAT orders within requester timelines
  • Use powered and manual material-handling devices safely
  • Place unit/location-specific orders using required technology and predetermined inventory methodology
  • Report errors and discrepancies through the appropriate chain of command
  • Manage product rotation and expiration dates
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow cleaning schedules
  • Travel between sites in the Freestanding Emergency Department Network when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to perform basic math functions and computer skills
  • Must be able to understand the financial impacts as it relates to supply chain functions
  • Must be able to work in a moderately paced, ever changing environment
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written
  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, word processor software, organization systems/applications, Workday, Microsoft TEAMS, and EPIC
  • Ability to travel between sites when working in the Freestanding Emergency Department Network
