  • Perform engineering analysis, field walkdowns, design development, and generate design output documents including P&IDs, control logics, loop diagrams, instrument indices, setpoint lists, instrument and control valve specifications, DCS and PLC designs, instrument location and installation designs, panel layouts, and vendor document reviews
  • Use SRNS processes and procedures with programmatic guidance from SRNS

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Ph.D. degree in applicable science or engineering discipline and 5+ years of experience, OR MS with 8+ years of experience, OR BS with 10+ years of experience or more
  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or I&C Engineering, or current registration as a Professional Engineer in one of these disciplines
  • Ten (10) years of direct I&C design experience within the last 15 years in the nuclear or process chemical industry
  • Design experience with process control instrumentation, PLCs, and distributed control systems
  • Proficiency using MicroStation 2D Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) software
  • Ability to perform weekly field walkdowns of the job site
  • Ability to walk over half a mile, climb ladders, work on uneven construction surfaces, and dress in protective clothing
  • Active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two years preferred
