About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the readiness workbook and communications plan for a phased, multi-bureau identity platform migration.
- Run application owner engagement for legacy workloads moving to the new platform, including owner identification, readiness intake, entitlement cleanup coordination, cutover communications, and post-cutover support messaging.
- Build end-user enablement, including manager and approver job aids for access request and certification workflows, with training sessions timed to each migration wave.
- Support identity governance working groups through agendas, decision capture, action tracking, and follow-through.
- Translate agency-specific dependencies into program schedule inputs and risk register entries with named owners.
- Operate the change intake path for platform configuration changes, including submission criteria, logging, triage, and sprint entry.
- Maintain the change control framework, including categories, approvals, evidence, documentation, back-out expectations, and escalation paths.
- Run the change calendar, sequencing configuration changes against migration waves, agency change windows, and blackout periods.
- Track vendor-driven platform releases, assess business impact with platform architects, and issue proactive communications.
- Govern production promotion by ensuring each change has a change record, test evidence, named approver, and advance notice to affected application owners.
- Screen change requests for security relevance and route flagged items to security and compliance within a defined SLA.
- Track security-driven change work to closure and escalate stalled items.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and 5 to 10 years leading IT change management and user-adoption initiatives.
- Certification in Prosci, PMP, or an equivalent change-management methodology.
- Experience with federal IAM modernization or cloud migration change readiness programs.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, and intake coordination.
- Familiarity with SailPoint and RadiantOne and their organizational impact on end users.
- U.S. citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate risk federal public trust clearance for the life of the engagement.
- Ability to meet federal onboarding requirements, including background investigation, fingerprinting, and mandatory security and PIV training.
