About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the global monthly close process
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and variance analysis
Standardize the close process across entities
Establish scalable intercompany accounting processes and reporting
Exercise judgment over vendor spend, accruals, capitalization, leases, and related accounting matters
Lead process improvements and automation to make the close faster, more accurate, and more scalable
Keep close deliverables audit-ready with clear documentation and evidence
Respond promptly and thoroughly to external audit requests
Report to the Sr. Accounting Manager
Partner with the broader Finance team and cross-functional organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of progressive accounting experience at a public or high-growth tech company
Hands-on experience owning full-cycle month-end close
Strong working knowledge of GAAP
Ability to manage account reconciliations independently and resolve discrepancies
Experience with international, multi-entity, and multi-currency accounting
Proficiency with modern accounting tech-stack tools, including Excel
Confident and direct communication across Finance and the business
CPA or CPA-track (nice to have)
Big Four public accounting experience (nice to have)
Experience with Rillet or similar ERP/close-management tools (nice to have)
Candidates must be based in the US
Must answer US visa sponsorship and legal working status questions
