About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish enterprise process architecture, standards, and governance
  • Lead prioritized end-to-end workflow design and optimization across business functions and core systems
  • Lead current-state process discovery and identify handoff friction, cycle-time lag, rework drivers, and capacity constraints
  • Architect and deploy Target Operating Models, streamlined workflows, and business requirement specifications
  • Partner with Product Leadership to align operational process designs with product profitability and client service commitments
  • Re-architect operational value streams including diagnostic triage, technician dispatch, schedule density, and back-office handoffs
  • Trace workflows upstream into Go-To-Market, Lead-to-Quote, contracting, pricing, and sales-to-onboarding processes
  • Lead process baselining and workflow integration for global platform migrations, system integrations, and regional expansions
  • Coordinate process talent embedded across functional departments
  • Establish process mapping standards, workflow notation, and documentation templates
  • Coach teams on process engineering and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Provide technical architecture, data, and process design recommendations
  • Evaluate cross-functional handoffs and challenge localized sub-optimization
  • Present bottleneck metrics and trade-off recommendations to executive leadership
  • Define business architecture and technical system requirements for enterprise software
  • Translate target-state process designs into platform configuration specifications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 8–10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise process engineering, value stream mapping, operational excellence, or management consulting
  • Proven track record of re-architecting complex cross-functional operations
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Black Belt, or equivalent formal continuous improvement credential required
  • Deep experience integrating business operational workflows into major enterprise software platforms, such as CRM and Field Service Management tools
  • Experience in clean energy, renewable technology, technical field service, logistics, or complex operational environments strongly preferred
  • Ability to strategically lead and directly execute detailed process work
  • Executive presence to constructively challenge senior leaders and align matrixed teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Systems Engineering, or a technical/quantitative field required
  • Advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • Must be able to work in the United States; sponsorship is unavailable now or in the future
