About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a widely recognized subject-matter expert across Horizon and related End User Computing / VDI technologies
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to content developers and cross-functional teams
- Lead research, planning, and architecture of technical enablement content for complex product areas, suites, and end-to-end solutions
- Drive content architecture and platform/tooling improvement projects
- Author and publish authoritative technical guidance to TechZone and other channels
- Define new customer use cases and supporting solutions architecture using product roadmap knowledge and emerging industry trends
- Lead cross-functional, cross-geo content initiatives by setting schedules, delegating tasks, and reporting progress to senior leadership
- Advise product management and engineering on strategic initiatives influencing the product roadmap
- Serve as an escalation point for critical and complex customer and partner situations
- Represent Omnissa as a speaker at customer-facing presentations and industry events
- Mentor others through coaching and technical training
- Conduct competitive analysis of industry-wide documentation practices to evolve content styles, standards, and best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Widely recognized expertise in Omnissa Horizon and related End User Computing / VDI solutions, including Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop
- In-depth knowledge of multiple related products, hypervisor and cloud infrastructure platforms, and Windows/Linux operating systems
- In-depth knowledge of IT domains beyond core Omnissa products
- Proven ability to architect complete, complex end-to-end solutions and influence product roadmap, design, and implementation
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently learn new technologies and test products hands-on
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to articulate company and product strategy and value
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, cross-geo projects
- Demonstrated ability to mentor others technically and professionally
- Track record of resolving the most critical and complex customer situations
- 10+ years of relevant experience in VDI solutions, product management, or technical marketing in the end user computing software industry
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally, including international travel as needed
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
