About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop architecture components on the Workspace ONE Intelligence Platform
- Participate in requirements, design, coding, testing, debugging, and performance tuning
- Own engineering initiatives and champion high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence
- Use modern engineering tools, including AI-assisted development tools, while maintaining code quality and security standards
- Support peers through code reviews, design reviews, and technical insights
- Drive API excellence, including API versioning, REST versus GraphQL, performance, and usability
- Support the team's on-call responsibilities and improve their efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong technical foundation in architecting and designing cloud services
- Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework
- Experience with microservice architectures and high-performance, high-scale systems
- Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS, including EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift, RDS, and OpenSearch
- Experience with AI assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code
- Experience in AI-driven, agent-based, or MCP-enabled automation and developer workflow solutions is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, technical leadership, and a proactive approach to continuous learning and improvement
- Proficiency in DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD processes
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Jenkins
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
- Must be able to work in the United States without employment-based immigration sponsorship
