About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish the framework for pipeline management, including expectations, processes, reporting, and KPIs
  • Own BDR metrics and reporting end to end, including dashboard design, data hygiene, and metric definitions
  • Create and communicate weekly pipeline forecasts to the BDR/SDR team and leadership
  • Own quality assurance for BDR outreach using Claude for message review, call and email QA, and coaching feedback
  • Participate in regional quarterly business reviews with cross-functional and territory leaders
  • Partner with Sales leadership on outbound motions and Marketing on inbound lead programs that drive opportunities and revenue
  • Mentor the team through training, coaching, and role playing, and ensure initiatives are implemented across the BDR team
  • Promote an engaged, energetic, and inclusive environment
  • Carry a small number of contacts across territories and demonstrate strategy, messaging, and results
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain BDR talent and build ramp plans for new hires
  • Create accessible documentation for the BDR team and beyond
  • Provide constructive feedback to product management, marketing, and sales leadership to improve offerings and customer value

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Work within US timezones and be comfortable having meetings in EMEA and APAC times on a regular basis
  • Successful track record leading a BDR/SDR team, with demonstrated attainment against pipeline and revenue targets
  • Proven ability to build and improve programs including cadences, qualification criteria, territory design, compensation and quota structures, and reporting
  • Strong understanding of conversion rates, pipeline coverage, and activity-to-outcome ratios
  • Strong CRM and sales enablement proficiency, e.g. Salesforce and HubSpot
  • Ability to design reporting rather than just consume it
  • Coaching ability with specific, timely, and actionable feedback
  • Comfortable prospecting, joining calls, and writing sequences
  • Ability to work effectively with sales, marketing, partners, and product teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and learn new industries and technologies quickly
  • 8+ years in outbound business development, including 2+ years managing a BDR/SDR or Sales team in a B2B environment, preferably selling to large enterprises
  • Experience selling HR tech or selling to HR leaders
  • Experience applying AI tools to sales workflows, including outreach QA, call analysis, research, or enablement
  • Experience building or scaling a BDR function in a hybrid or fully remote organization
  • Experience with HubSpot, Leadfeeder, Dealfront, Gong, or similar technology
  • Proximity to Central or Mountain Time Zones
