About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a subject matter expert and partner in all areas of human resources
- Provide foundational HR support to managers and employees at all levels
- Work with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and retention
- Lead performance management and compensation processes for assigned areas
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to people managers, including coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions
- Partner with the EX team on projects and internal HR process and program improvements
- Provide guidance on HR policies and employment laws
- Identify development areas for managers and individual contributors and propose people solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute work effectively
- Create and educate employees on policies and updated procedures
- Follow up on open items to resolve issues and provide excellent service
- Provide timely, accurate, clear, professional, and thorough written and verbal communication
- Execute deliverables in a timely and organized manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent years of experience in a Human Resources position
- 2-5 years of HR Business Partner experience
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee relations, recruiting, talent management, and federal and state employment laws
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships
- Ability to quickly develop strong trusting relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple conflicting priorities
- Flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels
- Self-directed and motivated; takes initiative and owns their area of the business
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Workday HCM experience highly preferred
