About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and provide patient care under the general direction of the Nurse Manager
  • Assume individual responsibility and accountability for nursing care
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs
  • Document IV infusions of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
  • Administer IM and SC injections
  • Access central lines and perform dressing changes
  • Perform therapeutic phlebotomies
  • Provide patient education and triage
  • Coordinate care through a multidisciplinary approach
  • Perform nursing duties, patient care coordination, and EMR-related activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • BLS CPR required
  • 3 years of nursing experience in a clinic
  • Experience with oncology clinic and/or infusion operation
  • Oncology nursing experience preferred
  • ONS/OCN highly preferred
  • BA and/or OCN Certification preferred
  • Ability to assess and prioritize patient needs
  • Good time management and strict attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and work well with others
