About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support product discovery, competitive analysis, interaction design, prototyping, and design systems work
- Collaborate with Design team members and Product and Engineering partners
- Collaborate with Analytics when needed
- Participate in design reviews, critiques, product discovery, and competitive analysis
- Work on real product surfaces from concept through execution
- Attend technical skills, resume-building, interview-preparation, and professional-development workshops
- Engage with company leadership during networking events
- Receive guidance and feedback from a manager and dedicated mentor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current Bachelor’s student in final year, expected to graduate in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
- Major in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Visual Design, or a related field
- At least one previous internship, or a portfolio of substantial personal or academic design projects
- Available for a full-time, 8-week program running June 21–August 13, 2027
- Available to work in the New York City office at least 3–4 days per week throughout the program
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
- OnePay will not sponsor applicants who need employment-sponsored visas; future sponsorship will not be considered
- Act-like-an-owner mentality and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication of ideas
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
