About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a senior marketing team across PR & Communications, Digital, Campaign, Field and Product Marketing
  • Decide the marketing team structure, hiring, and growth
  • Set a clear, durable marketing strategy
  • Connect the product and market story to enterprise growth
  • Make decisions on priorities, organisation, and investment to support global growth
  • Build a globally recognised Onside brand
  • Define and establish “Operational intelligence for agriculture” as a category
  • Develop customer and market insight, positioning, and market-entry strategies
  • Shape go-to-market strategy with Revenue and Product leadership
  • Plan and deliver qualified pipeline across brand, product marketing, content, digital, campaigns, ABM, field and events, PR, customer advocacy, and partners
  • Deliver qualified pipeline in ANZ enterprise and the US
  • Partner with Product on launches and market stories
  • Ensure Sales has the materials needed for successful launches
  • Own the marketing budget, channel mix, measurement, and attribution
  • Report to the Head of Revenue and work closely with the CEO and leadership team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience leading B2B marketing at senior level through a period of scale, ideally in SaaS or tech
  • Experienced marketers reporting to you
  • Track record of building brand and pipeline together with evidence of revenue impact
  • Experience marketing to enterprise buyers in more than one market
  • US marketing experience is a strong plus
  • Experience defining or repositioning a category
  • Commercial rigour and ability to measure marketing by outcomes
  • Ability to own the budget and attribution model
  • Strong, independent point of view on marketing
  • Ability to lead discussions with the CEO and revenue team
  • Ability to constructively challenge assumptions and explain trade-offs clearly
  • Ability to define a category, review ABM campaigns, and make investment decisions
  • Curiosity about the people served
  • Agriculture experience is a bonus, not a must
