About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and lead integrated marketing plans for Access & Stewardship priorities across relevant channels.
  • Own advocacy marketing initiatives from development through launch, optimization, and measurement.
  • Translate complex program priorities into customer-facing campaigns, messaging, briefs, and experiences.
  • Test advocacy storytelling, channel activation, and customer engagement approaches.
  • Extend Access & Stewardship stories across onX brand and vertical marketing efforts.
  • Develop storytelling about public land access and responsible recreation.
  • Steward brand identity, messaging, and design guidelines.
  • Write, edit, and guide content across web, in-app, campaign, editorial, partner, and other channels.
  • Partner with Brand Creative to develop accurate, distinctive, on-brand assets.
  • Coordinate with Access & Stewardship, Brand, PR, Vertical Marketing, Product, Geospatial, and external partners.
  • Navigate dependencies, risks, and trade-offs to deliver outcomes.
  • Recommend and track success measures, monitor campaign performance, and communicate insights and recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Five (5) or more years of marketing experience, including developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns from concept through launch and measurement.
  • Demonstrated experience in cause-based or mission-driven marketing.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and creative ideation skills.
  • Experience translating complex or nuanced subject matter into clear, credible, and engaging marketing.
  • Ability to independently manage complex initiatives and balance multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience building alignment and influencing partners across functions.
  • Strong integrated marketing experience, including marketing for social channels.
  • Experience using campaign performance, audience insights, and feedback to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Experience using AI tools in day-to-day work, with sound judgment over outputs.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Curiosity for exploring new technologies, including AI.
  • Ability to demonstrate onX’s Company Values.
  • Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment.
  • Ability to travel quarterly for multiple days to a corporate office or other onX strategic location.
