Key responsibilities & impact- Design and architect complex, scalable, and maintainable systems for training and running ML and AI models
- Define projects, scope, technical vision, and roadmaps for the machine learning engineering team, guiding execution from start to finish
- Work across all phases of the development lifecycle—Analysis, Design, Deployment, and Monitoring—for new and existing IT solutions
- Contribute to the generation and protection of intellectual property, including patents, invention disclosures, white papers, and presentations
- Raise the team’s technical capabilities through mentoring, technical alignment, code reviews, and promotion of Software Development Life Cycle best practices
- Collaborate strategically with product, architecture, data engineering, and executive teams to identify AI/ML opportunities and limitations aligned with business objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), or equivalent professional experience
- Relevant hands-on experience, with a proven track record of providing technical leadership to teams of MLEs, Data Scientists, Software Development Engineers, or DevOps professionals
- Extensive experience developing ML models end to end, from ideation, ETL, and modeling through production deployment and orchestration, with a focus on scalability and reliability
- Strong expertise in Big Data Analytics
- Strong expertise in Data Engineering, including ETL development, integration, performance optimization, and parallel processing
- Strong expertise in Cloud Computing
- Solid mathematical foundation for reading, interpreting, and applying advanced ML research and technical papers to real-world business scenarios
- Advanced English proficiency for daily communication
- Completed master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Specialization courses or postgraduate studies focused on Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
- Official certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
