About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define how OpenArt’s products and capabilities are positioned across key customer segments
  • Own go-to-market strategy and execution for major product, feature, and model launches
  • Develop deep knowledge of users, competitors, models, emerging AI capabilities, and broader market trends
  • Conduct customer research and translate insights into product, positioning, and go-to-market recommendations
  • Partner with Growth and Product to improve activation, adoption, engagement, and retention
  • Develop product narratives, demos, landing-page messaging, launch materials, and other assets
  • Partner with Content, Social, Creator, Growth, and Brand teams to bring product stories to market consistently
  • Track launch and adoption performance and continuously improve the product marketing playbook
  • Bring market and customer insights back to Product and leadership to inform future products
  • Work at OpenArt, a generative AI creative platform used by millions worldwide to create videos, images, visuals, characters, and stories

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or closely related roles
  • Recent experience working at a generative AI startup or AI-native company
  • Deep understanding of the generative AI ecosystem, products, models, and competitive landscape
  • Experience owning positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, and product launches
  • Strong product instincts and ability to understand sophisticated technical capabilities quickly
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to make complex technology simple and compelling
  • Strong understanding of customer research, segmentation, competitive intelligence, and market analysis
  • Experience partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Growth, and Creative teams
  • Highly hands-on and comfortable moving quickly in an ambiguous, rapidly evolving environment
  • AI-native in how you research, create, analyze, and work
  • Experience marketing AI image, video, creative, or agentic products (nice to have)
  • Experience with consumer subscription or product-led growth businesses (nice to have)
  • Experience marketing products to creators, marketers, SMBs, or creative professionals (nice to have)
  • Strong personal interest in AI-generated content and creative tools (nice to have)
  • Must be local to the San Carlos office
  • Required to work onsite three days per week
