About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and cultivate customer retention and acquire new accounts in an assigned territory
  • Act as the personal liaison and main point of contact for dealerships within a dedicated region
  • Set and meet customer expectations while facilitating an exceptional customer experience
  • Use a consultative sales approach and superior customer service to help accounts utilize OPENLANE software successfully
  • Drive user adoption within the dedicated region and serve as the bridge to clients’ success
  • Drive growth by understanding customers’ business needs
  • Maintain communication with all departments and work cross-organizationally to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain competitive knowledge regarding products, industry trends, and other developments
  • Document research and customer interactions in the CRM
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly call activity and performance against goals and sales targets using CRM software
  • Coach customers on best practices and provide personalized guidance and support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of related sales and/or account management experience
  • Strong understanding of online technologies and proficiency in Google Suite offerings
  • Proven track record as a proactive problem-solver, taking ownership of issues from beginning to end
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills; capable of handling multiple demands at any given time
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and stay focused in a remote work environment
  • Experience with Salesforce (nice to have)
  • Bachelor's Degree (nice to have)
  • Experience with DOMO or other data analysis tools (nice to have)
  • Experience working with Slack (nice to have)
  • Automotive experience (nice to have)
