About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own end-to-end accountability for order flow from order placement through pharmacy receipt, shipment, and patient delivery
  • Own and reduce the order exception queue by diagnosing root causes across licensing, provider-state coverage, system/API, and address-validation failures
  • Replace manual order reconciliation, spreadsheet exchanges, and note capture with standardized, documented, scalable workflows
  • Define and own processes for carrier delivery exceptions, including delays, returns to sender, and cold-chain temperature excursions requiring replacement
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to specify, prioritize, and validate tooling for order triage, status visibility, and exception handling
  • Drive cross-functional resolution with Licensing & Credentialing, Product/Engineering, and pharmacy partners
  • Establish recurring cadences and handoffs to prevent issue recurrence
  • Build metrics, runbooks, and reporting to make fulfillment quality visible and accountable as volume scales
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in fulfillment, logistics, or operations
  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end process design, not just execution within an existing process

  • Experience partnering with Product/Engineering to translate operational problems into tooling requirements
  • Strong cross-functional influence and ability to drive urgency and accountability across teams
  • High attention to detail
  • Comfort working in order management, tracking, and ticketing systems
  • Healthcare, pharmacy, or other regulated-operations experience preferred
  • Cold-chain, perishable, or time-sensitive shipping experience preferred
