About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Procure and expedite materials according to Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Own timelines, deliverables, risk mitigation, and reporting to senior management
  • Manage day-to-day purchasing and issue purchase orders based on forecasts, planning, ROI models, and projections
  • Improve supply chain processes and procedures
  • Write SOPs covering sourcing, planning, purchasing, and quality/supplier agreements
  • Negotiate pricing and lead times with suppliers while maintaining compliance with quality standards and regulations
  • Assist the purchasing manager with day-to-day operations
  • Work with cross-functional teams during audits or regulatory reviews
  • Own the end-to-end supply chain process across procurement, sourcing, and planning
  • Support centralized supply chain functions and scalable growth
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, and/or account management
  • Background in 503A or 503B pharmacy manufacturing operations
  • Ability to problem solve and identify root causes
  • Capable of seeing the big picture while clearly articulating the detailed rationale behind decisions
  • Able to effectively communicate with stakeholders internally and externally
  • Strong attention to detail regarding quality management, laws and regulations
  • Experience with BOMs and BOM management
  • Experience working directly with vendors and suppliers
  • Experience managing complex relationships internally and externally
  • Preferred: experience in quality investigations, deviations, CAPA, and Supplier Audits
  • Preferred: experience following and understanding Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)
  • Preferred: familiarity with USP-NF (797) Pharmaceutical Compounding-Sterile Preparations
  • Ability and willingness to work in-office on required days at the Dallas, TX office
  • Visa sponsorship requirements must be disclosed during application
