About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive Professional Services sales, revenue generation, and client success across US accounts
  • Collaborate with peers across North America to achieve bookings, revenue, margin, and client advocacy goals
  • Own all Professional Services activities within the territory
  • Drive services sales and support license and cloud opportunities
  • Ensure successful solution implementation
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strengthen client relationships
  • Position the full Professional Services portfolio to maximize client value
  • Sell Professional Services across different accounts
  • Generate revenue opportunities by developing client solutions and service offerings
  • Create an opportunity pipeline that meets quarterly booking expectations
  • Negotiate project deliverables, schedules, and service costs
  • Update opportunity status regularly in the CEM system, Salesforce.com
  • Work with sales teams to generate revenue in existing accounts through solution realization, enhancement, and operational services
  • Manage resource forecasting, opportunity forecasting, proposal/SOW writing, approvals, contract status, and invoicing status
  • Report quarterly revenue and bookings accurately to the Regional Vice-President
  • Partner with Professional Services on RFP development, opportunity tracking, and business development sessions
  • Communicate client account activities to key OpenText stakeholders
  • Engage with C-level executives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree or College Diploma and/or relevant IM/IT experience (10+ years) or equivalent
  • At least 7 years of experience with IT systems
  • Experience selling Professional Services
  • Expertise in complex business and technical processes and their implications across the enterprise
  • Knowledge of project management disciplines and processes
  • Knowledge of OpenText product offerings and how to associate them with client business requirements preferred
  • Ability to use standard methodologies to quickly evaluate and size an opportunity
  • Ability to assemble business requirements to OpenText modules and provide budgetary estimates
  • Previous experience planning and implementing large-scale ECM projects
  • At least two years of prior experience closing and directing engagements totaling at least $1 million in annual fees
  • Experience selling to and/or working for enterprise clients across the United States
  • Strong presence and confidence
  • Professional maturity and strong communication skills
  • At least 10 to 15 years of working experience
  • Solid work ethic and willingness to meet client demands
  • Willingness to travel up to 3–4 days per week at times
